This week has proven to be exhausting already.
This weekend was PIR. (Phx Int'l Raceway) That means that my school (well really, the dedicated teachers) worked concession at the nascar event. I did cheesesteaks and beer on Saturday and I was the Margarita girl all day on Sunday... which means I had creepy 50 year old men hit on me while I made ( Read more... ) -

Another long day today. After school I'm going with students to ASU for a discussion on education w Dr. Crow and Pearl and others. I'll be interested to see what Crow has to say, since I really don't think he's focusing on students at school (at least not for the right reasons and really only counting them as numbers.)

was I out of my head? Was I out of my mind?
Tiring day. I cried first period (thankfully though was in my prep). Should be an interesting day tomorrow...it basically determines if I have to quit some after school activities and if I need to get a second job.
I never thought that getting my dream job in life would mean that I couldn't afford living.

Sitting in DCA. I seriously want to move to DC. I just had a phenomenal time here... Hanging out with so many different people. The weather was beautiful (though I know that it will be frigid soon...)
I'm now wondering if there's anything that allows me to get out of staying in my house for 3 years if a transfer of job occurs. I feel like there' ( Read more... )
